Since 1862, Solomon Lutheran Church has supported and maintained an elementary school in Woodville, Ohio. We are very proud to be the longest-running school in the country for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).

At its founding and for many years after, Solomon was a parochial school, existing solely to meet the educational needs of the congregation’s children. We have since broadened our scope to include children whose families may not be members of Solomon Lutheran Church, but who are keenly interested in the values of Christian education.

Solomon Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest Lutheran group in North America. Solomon holds to the basic Lutheran principles of Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
