Annual Fund

The Annual Fund was established to sescure the future financial stability for Solomon Lutheran School. Gifts to the Annual Fund help maintain our environment of academic excellence and spirituality. In addition to the generous support of our congregation, our Annual Fund supplements our General Operatin Budget and helps bridge the cost difference per student that exceeds tuition. Every contribution, no matter its size, helps continue our mission of providing a quality, individualized education in a Christian environment.

The LSGO of Ohio’s purpose is to raise scholarship dollars for students to attend Lutheran schools throughout Ohio, with priority given to students from low-income households.

Contributors to the LSGO of Ohio qualify for a nonrefundable tax credit for their donations; the tax credit will be able to be applied to their Ohio state income tax liability, dollar-for-dollar, up to $750. Couples filing jointly may donate a total of $1,500, where each person separately donates $750 or more.  Donate here.

Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) were just recently brought into existence in Ohio’s legislative sessions. As of 2022, the Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization of Ohio is recognized as a charitable organization under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Meyer Financial Aid Fund was originally established by the family of our first principal, "Teacher Meyer". The fund provides tuition assistance to families who qualify.  Anyone can contribute to the Meyer Financial Aid Fund and anyone can apply to receive financial assistance.

Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund was established in 1987 to ensure that Solomon will continue to maintain the highest quality Christian education for generations to come. Endowment gifts are often in the form of securities, cash, planned giving, or real estate. They may be paid over a period of years and may be named to support a specific fund of the donor's choice.

Members and visitors of Solomon Lutheran Church support the work of the church and school through weekly offerings on Sunday and Wednesday chapel.
